This June, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Fort Wayne, alongside East Allen County Schools, Fort Wayne Community Schools, and other local nonprofits, will bring Summer Learning Labs to Allen County. This five-week program offers free math and reading instruction in the mornings, delivered by certified teachers using a state‑approved curriculum. Afternoons are packed with engaging enrichment, from STEM activities to field trips and hands-on fun while participants enjoy breakfast, lunch, and snacks.

With no state funding available for summer programming beyond third grade, this partnership fills a crucial gap, ensuring middle- and junior-high students stay active and supported all summer.
