Amanda Lovins has three boys that have started to recently come to the Boys and Girls Club. Since coming to the club her youngest son has started to have completions every week for his homework. "Before, we would have weekly progress reports where he was missing three and four homework assignments a week. Now, he turns all his homework in and he has been on green for the past two weeks." She relayed her oldest son has gained a sense of belonging and gets excited to play club and staff members at the 10-12 pool table. Before coming to the club, he didn't really have many friends. Now, he looks forward to a place that he feels accepts him.
